Companies & Divisions

As companies grow, they may acquire other companies locally, nationally, or even globally. Until now, it has been a nightmare for many expanding or already large companies to find software solutions for their business. Because Dispatch Anywhere can be run from just about any computer, it allows businesses to run multiple companies or divisions from anywhere in the world — all from a central database.

Owners of multiple companies may keep their operations completely separate for better management, while still being able to flip back and forth between the companies with a click of a mouse. Divisions, which are subsets of companies, can be designed to share resources with one click and separate resources with another. For centralized call centers, working in any number of divisions within a company is made simple by allowing the dispatcher to choose which divisions to work with right from the dispatch screen.

Call takers can save calls to any division without slowing down by specifying the division right on the call entry screen. Dispatchers can also transfer calls from one division to another to help equal the load during busy times.

This functionality allows Beacon Software to host some of the industry’s largest transportation management companies. For example, one of Beacon's largest customers runs over 25 divisions all across the United States, dispatching over 1,000 calls per day running Dispatch Anywhere. This company, and companies like it, are collectively running hundreds and thousands of calls per day through Beacon's systems. These companies trust Beacon to provide the services large companies like theirs need.
